• Towels

• Tea towels

• Bed linen

Parking

• You may drive up to the cottage to unload.

• Free parking is available at the car park halfway up the High Street (signposted).

• Alternatively, there is some street parking nearby.

Note: The cottage is on a private road but does not include a designated parking space.

Electricity

Electricity is supplied via a meter. You can top up using the plastic key located in the porch meter box. Simply take it to Morrisons Local on the High Street and add £5 or more.

• On arrival: The meter should have plenty of electricity.

• On departure: Please leave at least £10 on the meter to ensure the next guests have a comfortable start to their stay.

Morrisons closes at 10:00 PM.

Hot Water & Heating

• Hot water: Powered by an immersion heater. The switch is located at the rear of the corner cupboard in the kitchen.

• Heating:

• Night storage heaters are pre-set for your arrival.

• These heaters take effect late at night.

• Additional oil-filled radiators are available for immediate warmth.

• Please turn off heaters and the immersion heater before you leave (unless instructed otherwise).

Fireplace

• We provide an initial supply of logs or coal for the fireplace.

• Please replace any used supplies for the next guests.

• If you’ve used the fireplace, prep it before leaving for the next visitors.

Bins & Recycling

• Bin collection: Every other Tuesday morning.

• If you’re staying over bin day, leave the bin around the corner near the Vigour Pub on Monday night.

• Recycling: Facilities are available in the car park, and there are small recycling bins in the cottage.

Breakages

Accidents happen! If you break something, let us know. Where possible, please replace the item for the next guest.
